Men's Basketball Falls in Double Overtime to Friends JV
Wichita, Kan. - UA Cossatot men’s basketball played an action-packed battle in Kansas, losing 88-85 in double overtime against Friends University JV at the Garvey Center.

The Colts (6-4) were tied at the end of regulation and the end of the second overtime but could not pull out the win Tuesday afternoon.
Friends led 38-33 at halftime, with Knighten Day having seven points for the Colts.
Trailing 77-75 in the last minute, Colts center Knighten Day came up with a big steal, bringing the ball court and dishing the ball to forward Cherano Calmez who slammed it home for a tie game. After a defensive stop, the game headed to overtime
Cossatot led 83-80 with seven seconds to go, but a Falcons three sent it to the second overtime where they triumphed 88-85 over the Colts.
Calmez led UAC with 16 points, while Jeremiah Deering had 12 points.
Conference play is up next, with the Colts opening up at home on Wednesday, Dec. 3 against Southeast Arkansas College at 7:30 p.m.
