Men's Basketball Falls Valiantly on the Road to North Arkansas 89-82
Harrison, Ark. - UA Cossatot men's basketball travelled up to north to play Region 2 power North Arkansas and nearly came back from 20 behind, but ultimately lost 89-82 at the Pioneer Pavillion in Harrison.

The Colts (8-12, 2-6 Region 2) were down by 20 at halftime and got within five points of the Pioneers (15-5, 6-2 Region 2) on multiple occasions, but North Arkansas emerged victorious.
Despite starting the game tied 6-6, NAC went on a big run to outscore UAC 16-2 before having a 22-8 lead at the U12 timeout.
It was 44-24 North Arkansas at halftime, with star redshirt sophomore guard Dylan Glover leading the Colts with seven first-half points.
UAC made a big push later in the second half, getting within 10 points in the final third of the half, with a four-point play from Glover making it an 84-79 game with 2:18 to go. But in the end, the Pioneers were able to hold them off for an 89-82 win.
RJ Patton led Cossatot with 15 points, while Glover and Peter Serunjoji had 14 apiece.
The Colts are back at home this week, as they'll face Arkansas State Mid-South on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 5:30 p.m. at the Bank of Lockesburg Gymnasium.
