Mount Pleasant, Texas - UA Cossatot men's soccer played their final non-conference match of the season, drawing 1-1 away to Northeast Texas Community College at the NTCC Soccer Complex.
The Colts (2-7-1) fell behind in the first half to the Eagles (1-10-1) but were able to grab an equalizer right after the break.
It was mostly NTCC in the first half, with a 36th minute goal to take the lead.
After 45 minutes, the Eagles outshot the Colts 13-four, with six shots to one being on target.
It didn't take long into the second half for UAC to equalize, with Jonathan Grant assisting a Kerry Najera equalizer in the 50th minute equalizer.
Neither team was able to score after that, giving them both their first draw of the season.
NTCC won the shots battle 22-to-nine, with 11 shots on goal to Cossatot's two,
Colts keepers made 10 saves in net, with five from Tate Fuentes, two from Alexander Hautz and three from Bryan Pumarol.
The Colts are back in action in four days for the Red vs White match, with Cossatot playing an intrasquad scrimmage on Oct. 18 at 2:30 p.m.at the Colts Soccer Complex in De Queen.
