Shooting Sports Comes in Fourth at Tri-States Championships
Lonoke and Jacksonville, Ark. - UA Cossatot shooting sports competed in the Tri-States Championships at the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation Shooting Sports Complex in Jacksonville and the Remington Gun Club in Lonoke over the weekend, coming in fourth place.
On day one the Colts participated in the trap shooting and sporting clays portion of the event, positing team totals of 452/500 and 430/500 (sum of the scores of their top 5 shooters) respectively.

Moving onto day two, the Colts took part in the skeet shooting portion of the event, posting a team total of 422.

Litchford brought home a buckle award in Lady's Skeet, with her total score of 91 earning her third place.
Cossatot finished in fourth place with a 1308 team total score, with Murray State College (1st - 1428), State Fair Community College (2nd - 1408) and University of the Ozarks (3rd - 1374).
The Colts are back in action at the Remington Gun Club next Saturday for the ARCSS shoot.
