Lockesburg, Ark. - UA Cossatot women's basketball began their season with a loss against Eastern Oklahoma State College, falling 102-68 at the Lockesburg Bank Gymnasium as the Mountaineers thouroughly outplayed Cossatot.

The first quarter did not go the Colts way, as they trailed 28-11 after the first 10 minutes, with sophomore forward Alexandria Bunch leading the way for Cossatot with nine points.
The second half was closer but still in the Mountaineers favor, as EOSC led UAC 55-31 at halftime.
Things didn't get much better after halftime, and Eastern Oklahoma State College led 78-46 after three quarters.
The Mountaineers closed things out in the fourth quarter, winning 102-68.
The Colts will be back in action at home on Wednesday, November 5 against Southern University-Shreveport at 5:30 p.m.
