Women’s Soccer Battles Out 2-2 Draw Against NCAA Division III Hendrix

CONWAY, Ark. - UA Cossatot women's soccer earned a draw against NCAA Division IIII opposition tonight, as their match Hendrix finished up at two goals apiece.
Both teams vaguely threatened in the first half but could not score, leaving the match scoreless.
Seventeen minutes after halftime the Colts took the lead, with Francesca Dorreus striking a shot into the back of the net for a 1-0 lead.
Beatriz Chavez added a second five minutes later, making it 2-0.
The Warriors got one back in the 83rd minute, scoring after their shot hit the post and they were able to get on the rebound.
And just two minutes from fulltime, Hendrix equalized, with the match ending as a 2-2 draw.
Colts volunteer assistant Franklin Bahena took charge with head coach Justin Hinman coaching the men against UCA, and remarked that it was "a beautiful night, beautiful game...the girls showed resilience...bonded well"
Nahomie Ambroise made five saves in net for UAC.
Next up is an exhibition away to Southwestern Adventist University of the NCCAA on the 17th, with kickoff in Keene, Texas set for 7 p.m. next Wednesday.
