The Colts practiced on at the SCHEELS Stryker Sports Complex Saturday morning and attended the NJCAA DII Men's & Women's Championship Banquet Saturday evening, where head coach Justin Hinman was honored as the Central District Coach of the Year.
Head coach Justin Hinman remarked on the experience saying "Being here has been surreal for the girls. They understand the moment is far from over. It's been a fun experience for everyone since arriving in Wichita on Friday. We've gotten to see the city and have done a couple of things to let off some steam." Hinman said "Practice went well yesterday morning and the girls were locked in, focusing on the task at hand. I believe we are as ready as we can be for the game today. We know we have the potential to win, we just have to play as a team and make our chances count."
